We are looking for a Level 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioner to work in our Barnstaple Nursery for 16 hours per week. The successful applicant will need to :-
· Work alongside all policies and procedures correctly and to ensure Kiddywinks ethos and values are upheld at all times.
· To assist in making the provision and the children are the best they can be at all times.
· Promoting all areas of the foundation stage.
· Helping children reach the next steps.
· Interacting and supporting children in a positive way to foster their enthusiasm for learning.
· Planning the indoor and outdoor environment in order to provide a positive context for learning and teaching.
· Provide experiences and activities that are challenging but achievable.
· Working with others to plan and co-ordinate work.
· Meeting requirements for the observation, assessment and recording of children’s development.
· Sharing knowledge gained with other practitioners and parents.
· Organising time and material resources.
· Using creative and practical skills to prepare learning materials
· Attending in service training.
· Organising and attending outings
· General care of children to include: Changing nappies, Feeding, Cleaning, all other essential needs
· Keeping the nursery in a clean and tidy state.
· To ensure confidentiality at all times.
· To attend regular staff meetings.

The post holder will be expected to undertake any other duties which are within the range and scope of the post.
