In this role, you’ll support the Home Manager in leading the delivery of outstanding care, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the care home, ensuring high standards of care and operational excellence.
2. Lead and inspire the care team to provide exceptional, person-centered care to residents.
3. Develop, implement, and review care plans in line with individual needs and preferences.
4. Manage staffing levels, schedules, and training to maintain an efficient and skilled team.
5. Ensure compliance with CQC and other regulatory standards, supporting audits and inspections.
6. Act as a clinical lead, providing hands-on nursing care and guidance as needed.
7. Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Active NMC PIN with registration as an RGN, RMN, or RNLD.
2. Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursing or residential care setting.
3. Strong clinical skills with a commitment to high-quality care.
4. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
5. Thorough knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
6. A proactive, compassionate approach to leadership and resident care.
