To provide a comprehensive, high quality service focussing significantly on supporting line managers in managing and reducing sickness absence in specific areas. To analyse sickness absence figures and reasons for absence in specific areas, in order to identify trends and concerns that can be proactively addressed. Provide advice and support to managers on a wide range of complex or sensitive issues, working within policies and procedures including disciplinary, capability, grievance, harassment and bullying, organisational change, job evaluation, redeployment, flexible working, terms and conditions, making judgements on a case-by-case basis. To support People and OD Leads as required with corporate level projects and people policies, ensuring that they represent best practice, meet all appropriate employment legislation and NHS specific guidance, drive improvements and effective people practices. Role modelling our values, taking the initiative and working collaboratively across all POD Teams to implement solutions that resolve underlying issues and create sustained change and improvement.
