Morva Recruitment is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join an established and reputable company in the South West. This is a fantastic opportunity to oversee high-profile projects across the Exeter and Somerset region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the management of multiple sites, ensuring safe systems of work and compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
* Write, monitor, and enforce RAMS, COSHH, and PPE requirements in line with legislation.
* Lead and manage site personnel and subcontractors in accordance with company policies.
* Plan and manage resources, materials, and plant to meet programme targets efficiently.
* Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and Highways Authorities, maintaining professionalism at all times.
* Monitor progress, compliance, and commercial targets through regular audits and internal contract meetings.
* Assist with staff training, appraisals, and development to foster a positive and productive working environment.
* Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and cases of ill health, implementing preventative measures where necessary.
What Were Looking For:
1. Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, ideally in the construction or civils sector.
2. Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, including RAMS, COSHH, PUWER, and LOLER.
