Apex Resources urgently require a General Factory Operative/Trainee Machine Operator for their manufacturing client in the Baillieston area of Glasgow. This is an exciting role for the correct candidate and an opportunity to learn new skills and a lifelong trade. Previous experience in a fast-paced, target-driven production environment is an advantage for this role; however, this is not essential, and applicants from a similar environment will be considered.
Duties will include:
1. Assisting machine operators and learning to run the machines
2. Manual handling
3. Stock rotation and location
4. General production duties
5. Some product assembly
6. Learning to run machines
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 07:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday 7:30 am to 2 pm, paid at £11.49 per hour during the training period and £12 after completing the training.
