This Vibrant New Opening Hotel set in a prominent city central location. Having undergone significant investment, offering 100 bedrooms, 2 event spaces and a vibrant restaurant and cocktail bar We are looking for a Director of Sales to join the management team on site. This role will report into the General Manager and requires a candidate who enjoys the vibrant city atmosphere. is highly self managing and able to drive revenue streams from the city and surrounding areas to this stunning new opening A successful candidate will possess the drive to lead from the front and with a passion for revenue generation. This role is suitable for either an established Sales Manager to expand their skill set or for a DOS looking to further establish themselves with an exciting property set to open its doors in May 2025. Responsibilities Day to day management of the Sales, overseeing all event enquiries and planning Proactively develop new sales strategies and offers where necessary to work towards budget. Close management of rate strategy Producing necessary reports to provide accurate insight into sales performance. Ensuring processes are in place Working with the GM on ideas and promotions to drive and maintain rates and revenue dependent on season and local competiion. pro-actively search for new business opportunities maximising on revenue opportunities for the property. Requirements Previous proactive sales experience within the hotel industry is essential. Previous experience with Opera is desired but not essential. Strong interpersonal skills Commercially aware with ideally a good knowledge of the local market. Creative approach to work with the ability to develop new ideas from concept to execution.
