Sterling Medical is seeking an LCSW to serve as a Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist (FAIS) in Lakenheath. The Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist (FAIS) combines the responsibilities of both the Treatment Manager and Outreach Manager at installations where a full-time position in each role is not required. In some cases, the FAIS will serve as an additional staff member to support the services provided by full-time treatment and outreach managers. As such, the FAIS must meet the qualifications and fulfill the responsibilities of both the Family Advocacy Treatment Manager (FATM) and Family Advocacy Outreach Manager (FAOM). The FAO will determine the proportion of time the FAIS will dedicate to each role. Position Overview: Contract Length: 3 years Relocation Package Includes: Shipment of privately owned vehicle Shipment of up to 4,000 pounds of household goods Roundtrip flight Qualifications: Must be a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) At least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years providing counseling to men, women, and children impacted by or engaging in abusive behavior Experience facilitating group therapy sessions A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children, families, and groups in a clinical or community organization, or as a program manager Proven experience in program planning and the implementation of educational and intervention services Experience working with agencies that provide community support and counseling services to children and families
