Job Summary
Work within the Administration Centre and administer an efficient and cost-effective administrative service across the community services. Provide a patient-focused service by responding to all queries from patients, referrers, and staff in a timely and professional manner. Manage patient appointments for patients. Work within the community to cover clinics when required. Work with telephonic equipment and software used to support the Administration Centre.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Responsible for taking receipt of patient referrals and inputting appropriate information into the electronic patient record.
2. Responsible for allocating patient referrals appropriately within services.
3. Responsible for appointment management on electronic patient record system.
4. Responsible for providing accurate written confirmation of appointments to patients.
5. To create and maintain databases/spreadsheets, inputting information and ensuring that all information is accurately recorded.
