Position: OFSTED Registered Manager
Location: Birmingham
Duration: Permanent Position
Hours: Full-time / Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Salary: up to £57,000 per annum
IMC Locums has a rare and exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager based in the Birmingham area who would be interested in a permanent position within a very prestigious private client on a full-time basis. This is within a new home split across 2 sites minutes from each other with service users between the ages of 8-18 years old. You will be assisting in transitioning the home from CQC to OFSTED.
Requirements:
1. Previous RM experience
2. OFSTED Registered essential
3. A minimum of Lv 4 qualification in Health & Social Care
HOW YOU WILL HELP:
1. Maintain standards in the service for the people we support
2. Provide goal-oriented service provision tailored to the young people we support
3. Manage and supervise a team of care staff including rota and staff coverage in the service
4. Provide on-call support for the service as needed
5. Foster a culture of positive and inclusive working
6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements
7. Ensure care is planned and delivered appropriately
8. Oversee and implement personalised care plans for each young person focusing on individual needs and goals
9. Ensure care plans are regularly reviewed to keep them effective and relevant
10. Promote and ensure the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of young people in the service
11. Conduct audits and assessments to meet high standards of care delivery
12. Be the Safeguarding lead in the service to ensure appropriate care is delivered by all
13. Build relationships with young people, families, staff, and external stakeholders
14. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and educational institutions as appropriate
15. Manage the service budget effectively ensuring resources are used efficiently and responsibly
16. Ensure maintenance and upkeep of the service premises
17. Ensure regular updates for service users are logged on the care management system Nourish
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
1. Registered Manager Qualification (level 5 in leadership and management in residential childcare or equivalent)
2. Demonstrable experience in working with children and young people with Autism
3. Service Team management experience
4. Strong knowledge of legislation, regulations, and best practice
5. Knowledge and experience in therapeutic approaches for young people with Autism
6. Resilient and adaptable in working with staff, families, and young people, and willing to work with challenging behaviours and situations
