The Organisation
Glasgow Sling Library is a non-profit social enterprise based in the North East of Glasgow. We provide babywearing education for families across Glasgow by offering one to one sessions, group workshops, and pop up sling library meets. Families can hire carriers to try to ensure they get the right one for their needs. We also provide a cloth nappy library to let families try using cloth nappies without having to invest in new nappies and offer information sessions for people to join to learn more about using cloth.
The Role
We offer cloth nappy hire kits to families across Scotland to give them the opportunity to try using cloth nappies without having to invest in costly new nappies. We provide advice and information on using cloth and offer support to find the nappies which work best for that family.

* Sort the donated nappies into starter packs
* Review and amend our hire kits as necessary
* Create processes for hire and purchase of kits
* Create documentation to support hire kits and purchased items
* Liaise with Parent Club Scotland and MSP’s to work towards getting hire kits into the baby box
* Liaise with local councils to offer discounted hires/preloved kits across Scotland
* Network with other cloth nappy libraries in Scotland
