Reporting to a PP Director (Global or Site), the PPM is the industrial focal point between the IPT & Operations. The PPM is responsible for the continuous improvement of the structural industrial performance (delivery, quality) for the Program and is accountable for costs for the Production scope of work for its Programs. As an escalation, the PPM can temporarily become the coordinator of the recovery plan in support of the execution functions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the industrial focal point between the IPT & operations, supported by all functions.
2. Escalate industrial blockers to the IPT where support from functions is needed.
3. Cascade IPT requirements impacting Industrial Operations.
4. Serve as the industrial focal point with the Customer as required by Programs.
5. Understand and prioritize industrial global critical activities within the IPT, especially with Engineering (cost reduction, manufacturability, design changes, NC, etc.) & validate design changes on behalf of Operations.
6. Collect, consolidate & assess risks and develop & evaluate risk mitigation plans.
7. Manage monthly the OvRMs during transfers (Internal & External).
8. Ensure recovery action plans are consistent and robust in case of non-performance.
9. Verify Manufacturing and Assembly plans are in line with defined rules and ensure protection of the Program.
10. Source proposals for buffering policy adjustments (Buffer Stock, Buffer Time, Production Plan buffer target).
11. Propose evolutions to the Industrial Scheme based on existing performance & risks.
12. Describe the Program Industrial Scheme.
13. Analyze the performance of the Industrial Scheme.
14. In liaison with the Program, propose protection plans for high & low scenarios & associated Customer Logistics Conditions.
15. Coordinate with Spare PPM for Spare & Dual parts (Spare & OE).
16. Participate actively in the MTP preparation & consolidation by framing budgets for the Program & defining the vision of the Industrial Scheme evolution and risks to take into account.
17. Consolidate RTDI & rechargeable NRC budgets for Production.
18. Consolidate cost-saving actions for MAKE parts & promote Industrial teams to identify cost-saving opportunities (including MAKE part variance analysis).
19. Propose Industrial Scheme evolutions considering cost impacts.
20. In case of escalation, temporarily coordinate the recovery plan in support of execution functions to restore program performance.
21. Set, agree, work & conclude the recovery plan.
Note: The PPM is not responsible or accountable for the execution activities (day-to-day activities) or OTD/OQD execution activities.
