Department The Department of Environment and Geography is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to the FixOurFood Metrics lead, funded by UKRI. The FixOurFood Project is led by the University of York, which aims to transform the food system in Yorkshire and beyond. The post is linked to Work Package 3: Metrics, which is led by Professor Sarah Bridle. Role To provide coordination and executive support to the FixOurFood York-based Co-Investigator and Work Package leader, Professor Sarah Bridle, in developing and delivering on research and engagement tasks and outputs in the FixOurFood Metrics Work Package. The successful applicant will support work to increase and measure the impact of the FixOurFood AgriFood Calculator interface to the FixOurFood quantitative systems model, considering users from farmers, to citizens including young people. This will involve supporting the running of workshops online and in person and helping capture information on how opinions are affected by interacting with the calculator and associated materials. You will develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the food system as determined by Professor Bridle’s strategies for the work. Key duties are to: Devise, develop and implement administrative and information-sharing strategies, systems and services, to support the FixOurFood Metrics lead at York Logistical organisation, including oversight of communication and interaction Preparation/writing, editing and proofreading of documents, providing summary reports, strategic, event, web content and communications materials for the FixOurFood Metrics lead Establish and maintain records of activities and communication to fulfill project progress and objectives tracking, and support resource-location for assessment by funding body and impact assessors To ensure standards and consistency in partnerships with funders and collaborators in the FixOurFood Metrics lead at York’s outreach and project/network development Essential administrative support for the FixOurFood Metrics lead at York, relating to FixOurFood - email management, diary management, dealing with correspondence, collation of materials and travel arrangements This post is available at 40% FTE on a fixed term contract.
