Summary of Role:
The Graduate Subsea Project Engineer will work as part of a team to deliver engineering projects with a focus on both Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy. The focus will generally be on subsea-orientated workscopes encompassing Operations and Maintenance, multi-discipline Feasibility/Concept stage studies and Technical Support. The Graduate Subsea Project Engineer will have an active role in all stages of the projects including exposure to the ISO9001:2015 policies, procedures and all associated requirements.
Experience:
1. Ideally previous exposure to Project Engineering within the Oil & Gas/Renewables industries, particularly diving and ROV activities.
2. Excellent organisational and communication skills, capable of working effectively in diverse teams and on own initiative.
3. Awareness of industry regulations and standards, particularly those impacting subsea operations.
4. Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and environmental protection.
5. Willing and able to work offshore and remote on-site facilities as required to promote development.
Minimum Experience / Qualities:
The successful candidate will:
1. Have the ability to use or interest in learning typical engineering software packages.
2. Be presentable and confident in client meeting environment.
3. Be enthusiastic, flexible and motivated to deliver high quality engineering support to in-house and client points of contact.
In-house training will be provided and external courses will be utilised if/as required. Office-based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire with onsite and offshore trips as required.
