Care Dorset is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Learning Manager to lead our learning and development initiatives across all services. In this pivotal role, you will ensure our training programs not only meet regulatory requirements but also inspire and equip our staff with the skills they need to excel in their roles. Key Responsibilities: Identify Training Needs: Conduct comprehensive assessments to align learning objectives with regulatory and business requirements. Design & Implement Programs: Develop engaging training solutions that cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring effectiveness and compliance. Collaborate with Managers: Work closely with managers to address specific training needs and facilitate both group and individual training sessions. Manage Apprenticeships: Oversee the Apprenticeship Levy and maintain strong relationships with learning providers to achieve completion targets. Evaluate Learning Impact: Measure the effectiveness of training initiatives and continuously adapt programs based on participant feedback and changing needs. Foster a Learning Culture: Promote continuous professional development and encourage staff participation in external learning opportunities. What We’re Looking For: Experience in Social Care: A solid background in the social care sector, with hands-on training experience and an understanding of CQC regulations. Proven L&D Expertise: Demonstrable success in designing and implementing effective learning programs, preferably in elderly care or healthcare. Technology Savvy: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and e-learning tools to enhance training delivery. Strong Relationship Builder: Ability to build respectful and productive relationships with managers and operational teams. Travel Ready: Willingness to travel across various locations within Dorset as required. Qualifications: Essential: Experience in delivering training programs, understanding of regulatory requirements, and sound financial acumen. Desirable: Certifications such as CPLP or coaching qualifications; CIPD Level 5 (or Level 3 with a willingness to work towards Level 5). Why Join Us?
