In this role, youll provide expert guidance on health and safety matters, engage in safety program activities, and contribute to EDF Energys zero-harm goal. Your mission Collaborate with the KierBAM Joint Venture management teams, offering daily technical advice and support on all health and safety issues. Conduct risk-based monitoring and provide valuable insights to continually enhance health and safety management at Hinkley Point C. Actively promote and enforce H&S standards, conducting risk-based inspections and audits to assess the health and safety performance of KierBAM and its supply chain. Develop health and safety risk profiles for project-based assessments, guiding inspections and assurance activities. Ensure compliance with the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 for Designers and Principal Contractors, providing necessary assurance to Client organizations. A subject matter expert in constructability, maintainability, and operability reviews. Conduct inspections, manage accident investigations, and maintain records and reports. Coordinate information for scheduled H&S reports, analyze trends, and recommend actions to improve safety practices. Audit construction activities to verify adherence to the construction phase plan. Provide training, briefings, and information on the H&S management system to ensure consistent application. Engage in regular behavioural safety conversations with construction contractors. Design and implement zero-tolerance HSE programs to raise awareness across the project. Work collaboratively with other safety, health, and environmental professionals to develop integrated safety policies and systems. Who are we looking for? Previous experience working as a H&S Advisor on infrastructure projects Valid membership of IOSH Able to deliver internal health and safety management courses Advise on health and safety issues on a day to day basis on site Conduct standard accident investigations on host site Able to write site inspection reports and audit reports Whats in it for you?
