Your new company - A successful regional main contractor with a strong track record across Greater London, now seeking an experienced contracts manager to join the team. Working on a wide range of projects, schemes are typically between 500k - £5mill and include education, healthcare, public buildings, frameworks and social housing. Working from modern offices in SE London, they are able to self-deliver several packages due to sister companies and, due to their wide-ranging client base and ongoing frameworks, they are continuing to pick up new work in a challenging market. Your new role
As contracts manager, you will oversee 3 to 4 schemes reporting to a construction director, dividing your time between the office and sites as required. Duties will vary but include responsibility for programming, design co-ordination, contract admin, client liaison, subcontract management, H&S and monthly reporting and ensuring projects are running to time and budget with the support of the commercial, design and management teams.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of working as a contracts manager with a main contractor and be comfortable running multiple schemes simultaneously. You will be comfortable writing and amending programmes as well as compiling reports and co-ordinating with the relevant in-house departments to ensure smooth delivery. This i...
