Job Purpose
To support the Quality department the Quality Systems Coordinator has the responsibility for maintaining quality systems, databases, and other data management requirements in the area. To be the bridge between the site and the customer, sales, customer service and the central product safety team.
Principal Accountabilities
* Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities.
* Assist in the application and enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
* First contact for customer complaints, dealing with concerns through the business knowledge management system, collecting necessary information and pulling together the team members required for RCA.
* Responsible for maintenance of the Integrated Quality Business Management Systems.
* Responsible control of documents, updating existing and implementing new documents, databases within the QMS.
* Creation and /or updating excel database for customer concern tracking.
* Responsible for ensuring supplier regulatory requirements are retained within the QMS and available for inspection on request from customer or external auditing authorities.
* Control the internal audit schedule, following up closure of QARs raised.
* Conduct system audits in accordance with BRC issue 7 and ISO 9001:2015 standards, training can be arranged.
* Point of contact for customer traceability requests and audits.
* Maintenance of datasheets, certificates of analysis and technical specifications as required.
* Ownership and maintenance of the internal resin database to ensure any changes, additions and errors are dealt with to ensure data accuracy and continuity.
* Assist the Quality manager in the preparation of, and during, on-site or remote link audits, to include BRC, ISO and customer audits.
* Any other duty assigned within the skill of the employee.
Qualifications/Requirements
Experience
* Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
* Internal and external facing customer familiarity.
* Flexible packaging experience preferred but not essential.
* Organization & Time Management: Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and associated tasks successfully.
* Creativity & Innovation: Able to generate creative ideas to solve problems and improve work methods; independently apply professional expertise in ways that are unique or innovative; collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative approaches; rethink situations to create new opportunities or overcome obstacles.
