AMU are looking for a Staff Nurse to work on a fast paced 21 bedded acute medical assessment unit. We specialise in acutely unwell patients from the Emergency Department and GP referrals, dealing with a range of ailments and acute issues of all adults. Experience in acute medicine is a bonus but not essential, as here you will gain all the experience you will ever need. Successful candidates will be expected to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including Physiotherapists, Doctors and Specialist Nurses. As a team we feel it is important our staff feel supported and make sure they reach their full potential, so there will be plenty of training opportunities and a chance for you to fulfil a link nurse role and develop your skills.
