M&E Quantity Surveyor Maidstone, Kent Permanent, Full Time Salary: Dependent on ExperienceJob Purpose: Responsible for the commercial management of projects.Key Responsibilities:Prepare subcontract documents, including bills of quantities.Review contract conditions and report concerns to the Projects Director.Procure subcontractors and materials, including payments.Coordinate site staff and subcontractors.Manage costs and undertake cost value analysis/reporting.Identify and manage commercial risks.Price variations and agree with clients.Compile project budgets and cost-to-complete estimates.Value works in progress and agree on final accounts.Provide commercial advice to the operational team.Ensure compliance with JCT and NEC 4 contracts.Liaise with accounts and prepare O&M manuals.Promote and ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies.Qualifications & Experience:Essential: Quantity Surveying qualification (preferably RIC), 5+ years of experience in M&E QS roles.Desirable: Degree in Quantity Surveying.Skills & Knowledge:Strong knowledge of construction contract law and financial regulatory controls.Experience advising on financial aspects of construction.Proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Office, and Project.Ability to inspect construction sites, including climbing ladders/scaffolding.Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.Preferred: Experience using SimProBenefits:Competitive Salary (DOE).Company Vehicle/Car Allowance.Additional benefits to be discussed.TPBN1_UKTJ
