What will this role achieve? As Regional Procurement Category Manager for UKI, you will be focused on delivering world class results and a competitive advantage to pladis. You will contribute to the development of the Regional category strategy or will lead it for Regional sub-categories, whilst leading the sourcing cycle and bringing in breakthrough ideas through outstanding approaches. You will develop, support and implement all procurement strategic projects that are held globally. What will be your key deliverables? As part of the UKI team, reporting directly to the Head of Indirect Procurement, you will: Build and execute regional category strategies into sourcing and efficiency projects, and define the partner team required to successfully deliver the project plan Deliver cost reduction projects across regional spends and drive value improvement initiatives throughout the category Engage proactively with team members to understand current and future requirements and align on a unified approach Provide information and impact assessments for Global Procurement teams to support Global procurement strategies and plans and execute them for the region Act in accordance with and bring to life the One Procurement Community (OPC) to enable pladis Journey to Procurement Excellence (JPE) Undertake broad procurement responsibilities across category strategy and supply chain. Bring your experience Graduate qualification or confirmed experience in procurement Previous functional Procurement experience in Professional Services, HR, Finance or Travel categories Proven track record of consistent performance and delivery Excellent knowledge and experience of elite category management and sourcing practices Strong strategic category experience (strategy to execution) to establish credibility with internal and external partners Excellent collaboration, communication and influencing skills with a confident demeanour Positive demeanour and ability to make things happen to deliver outstanding results Strong analytical and quantitative skills and experience with SAP and Office applications Structured yet flexible approach while ensuring attention to detail Proficient project and organisational change capabilities Our Purpose Bring happiness with every bite It’s a purpose that every one of our colleagues, all around the world believes in.
