About the roles We are seeking professionals with a range of experience in corporate and financial communications or public relations, either in-house or at a global agency. Dependent on role and experience, key responsibilities will include (from more senior to junior): Setting and managing strategic direction Leading day-to-day client engagements and successfully / efficiently executing mandates Working closely with senior leadership to support new business development, marketing efforts, and network development Working closely with the extended 193 team to develop strategic communications plans and provide counsel to clients Developing client content, including strategy plans, press releases, memos, key messages, and Q&As, and managing / coordinating execution of plans Managing and nurturing junior talent Managing day-to-day work to ensure tasks are completed on time and to standard Overseeing research to support account activity and client counsel Actively participating in the intellectual thought process supporting client counsel and delivery Qualifications Intellectual curiosity and an interest in learning about the world and how relevant global issues affect business, society, and politics Desire to help build a business – we are a rapidly growing firm and you will be instrumental in helping develop new business and recruiting and nurturing junior talent Experience interacting with and advising senior executives Gravitas, polish, and the ability to remain poised during high-stakes situations Commitment to the highest levels of quality and rigor in all aspects 3 – 15 years’ experience in corporate / financial communications or public relations, either in-house or at a global agency Strong critical thinking, research, and writing skills Experience working with media and other stakeholders Well-developed core technical skills across the Microsoft suite (financial tools like AlphaSense a plus) Ability to effectively manage projects and prioritize tasks in a demanding and dynamic environment Appreciation for constructive feedback and a commitment to continuous professional improvement Viewpoints, perspectives, and experiences that further diversify our team
