Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Medicine Division at Kettering General Hospital. Would you like to work in a busy, fast-paced environment? Do you have an eye for detail? Do you have a passion for patient care and efficient processes? Would you like to support our doctors with their administration duties? If so, then this role is for you.
Main duties of the job
Based within a busy ward environment, you will be working alongside clinical staff assisting them with their admin duties, including patient discharge letters which are completed when patients are deemed medically fit for discharge. This is a pivotal role embedded within the ward areas and allows our clinicians to spend more time with their patients. Previous administrative experience and a proactive approach to a rapidly changing service are vital as we enter the challenging, but exciting time of digitisation within the Trust.
The successful candidate will be educated to a good standard, have a strong administration background, and have a passion for working within a caring NHS environment. Experience of in-house systems, Medway PAS, Careflow, and Patient Flow would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given. Full-time hours are 0800-1600 Monday to Friday.
