Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in London is looking to recruit a Temporary Accommodation Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.
This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.
As a Temporary Accommodation Officer, you will play a vital role in managing our temporary accommodation portfolio, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standards of service. You will be responsible for housing management, tenancy support, and working with private sector leased properties to meet the needs of our clients.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:
1. Housing Management: Oversee the management of temporary accommodation properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and comply with health and safety regulations.
2. Tenancy Support: Provide comprehensive tenancy support to residents, helping them understand their rights and responsibilities, and addressing any issues that arise during their stay.
3. Private Sector Leased Properties: Manage relationships with private landlords and agents, ensuring the smooth operation of leased properties and negotiating terms as necessary.
4. Allocations: Coordinate the allocation of temporary accommodation to individuals and families, ensuring fair and transparent processes.
5. Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service to residents, handling inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally.
6. Partnership Working: Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to coordinate support and resources for residents.
7. Legislation Compliance: Ensure compliance with housing legislation, policies, and best practices.
