Our client is a leading manufacturer and producer of hydrogen fuel and power units and they have recently commissioned a new flagship facility based at High Marnham Power station. Key responsibilities: Installation: Install electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and hydrogen production equipment (electrolysers, compressors) per technical drawings. Testing: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems using testing instruments. Commissioning: Ensure systems meet operational and industry standards, completing documentation. Supervision: Oversee electrical fitters and subcontractors. Maintenance: Perform inspections, fault diagnosis, and repairs on electrical systems and hydrogen equipment. Compliance: Adhere to electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Documentation: Maintain records, create material lists, and support electrical system design. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in electrical installation, testing, and commissioning is required. Strong technical skills and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in using electrical testing instruments and tools. Good communication and teamwork skills. Relevant electrical certifications (e.g. City and Guilds installation level 3, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation). CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card is required.
