The post holder will provide clinical and operational leadership into the YJS and Complex Senior Pathway Lead in B&D CAMHS Service. The post holder will lead operations for the B&D Youth Justice Service and Complex Pathway in the B&D CAMHS team, collaborating closely with the Senior B&D CAMHS Management Team. Provide managerial and clinical leadership while contributing to service development, referral management, and fostering interagency collaboration. Main duties of the job The post holder will be expected undertake highly specialist assessments in order to contribute to the clinical leadership and oversight for mental health assessments and interventions within the YJS context and Complex Pathway process and to formulate areas of strengths and needs based on good practice and evidence. Conduct thorough assessments to identify mental health needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans. Provide operational and clinical leadership to the YJS and Complex pathway for children/YP in B&D CAMHS Service Provide a high quality, accessible, timely, efficient, effective, comprehensive and specialist psychological service for children and adolescents referred to YJS and Complex pathway and to provide this service also to their carers/parents and families. Provide and/or support the provision of evidence-based assessments and psychological interventions for service users. This will include providing highly specialist assessments and contributing to multi-disciplinary assessment and treatment of children and young people referred onto the Complex pathway and ensuring waiting lists are at clinically safe level. Support and deputise other pathways and pathway leads in the B&D CAMHS Service. About us Starting with NELFT NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.
