About the Job Do you want to manage a distribution team responsible for the efficient storage and timely despatch of products to Games Workshop's customers? If the answer is yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for a Distribution Team Manager to manage teams on the night shift at our Finished Goods Distribution centre, which distributes from the UK to North America, Australia and Asia as well as fulfilment to the UK, EU and ROW. This is a relatively new site at East Midlands Gateway that showcases state of the art goods to person technology / robotics. You will have people management responsibility for between 5 - 20 Distribution Operatives and will be involved in the day to day running of the entire shift with up to 30 staff. It's your job to make sure every item is picked, packed and distributed on time and to the highest standard, providing the highest possible level of service to all of Games Workshop's customers around the world In this role you will be responsible for developing your team, including delegating work effectively, ensuring that goals are set, keeping score on their achievements and taking appropriate action through holding them to account. You will champion continuous improvement to provide a safe, efficient and cost-effective workplace, delivering many small improvements and understanding their impact on the big picture whilst planning effectively to implement them to a defined plan.
