Our Client in CLEVEDON are delighted to be offering an OPERATIONS ASSISTANT position to work from their Clevedon office. As an integral role within a small team, this hire will report to the Operations Supervisor and will play an important part across all aspects of the business.
The Role
1. First port of call for customers & clients contacting the office. Responsible for taking all customer orders, including resolution of order related queries, whilst maintaining a high standard of customer service.
2. Managing the internal customer ordering system. Recording commercial contracts and processing customer orders, from the point of request through to generating customer invoices.
3. Handling logistics to ensure customer requirements are met, whilst liaising with hauliers and terminal personnel to ensure product is delivered in a timely manner.
4. Bringing own development to the table with a continual focus on efficiency of operations.
5. Assist with uploading sales & purchase invoices to our finance system, as well as other ad hoc finance duties.

1. Excellent communication skills required for relationship management with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
2. Decision making abilities at an operational level to respond to the daily tasks.
3. High level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
4. Ability to engage with all levels and functions across the business.
