Brightwork are pleased to be recruiting for a Transport Coordinator on behalf of our client based in Aberdeen, on a full time, permanent basis.
As Transport Coordinator you will support the Transport Manager with the co-ordination of road shipments from start to finish, including quotation, ensuring that clients receive excellent customer service care throughout all aspects of their enquiry. You will liaise with internal & external clients for all transport related issues and bookings, for Norwegian and Holland / European trailer traffic.
Working with this client, duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Offering competitive pricing to clients.
2. Ensuring jobs awarded are processed and followed through to completion.
3. Billing clients as per working SOP’s.
4. Completing Pre-Alerts / Advising Customs Clearance instructions.
5. Liaising with the warehouse regarding incoming/outgoing freight.
6. Updating customers on progress.
7. Job files are processed and completed within the monthly/year end schedules.
8. Load planning for Norway / European Trailers.
