We are looking for a Research Assistant to support an exciting project exploring police roles in mental health crises, funded through the QR Policy Support Fund. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about evidence-based policy and research with practical applications. The role holder will assist in delivering psychosis training sessions to police forces in the Northwest, and support qualitative data collection through interviews with police officers and members of the public. The project builds on successful psychosis training delivered to Lancashire Constabulary, with plans to expand to five constabularies across the Northwest (Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cumbria, Merseyside, and Cheshire).
About You:
The successful candidate will have a good honours degree, or equivalent, in a relevant area such as psychology, criminology, or social sciences, along with experience in qualitative research, including data collection and analysis. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
