As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, providing vital support and assistance to ensure the well-being and comfort of our patients. Assist registered nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering patient care and treatment in accordance with care plans and protocols. 2. Help patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance. 3. Observe and report changes in patients' physical and emotional conditions to the nursing staff, ensuring timely communication of any concerns. 4. Assist with patient transfers and positioning to prevent pressure ulcers and maintain patient comfort. 5. Prepare and serve meals, ensuring that dietary restrictions and preferences are followed. 6. Support patients in maintaining a clean and safe environment, including changing linens and keeping patient rooms organized. 7. Assist with basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs, recording measurements, and collecting specimens as directed. 8. Provide emotional support to patients and their families, offering companionship and a listening ear. 9. Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning discussions. 10. Adhere to infection control measures and maintain a hygienic and sterile environment. 11. Complete required documentation accurately and promptly. 12. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
