Job Title: Commercial Claims Handler
Location: Bolton - 5 days office based
Salary: £30K
We are currently working with a reputable, independent Chartered Commercial Insurance Broker, that is seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved across all Commercial product lines and specialist schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Review and assess insurance claims, determining coverage and liability across a variety of commercial products including but not limited to Employers & Public Liability, Property, Fleet and Cyber.
2. Acknowledge new claims to clients and insurers, keeping clients informed throughout the process and ensuring the best possible outcomes.
3. Investigate claims, gather evidence, and make informed decisions.
4. Negotiate with claimants, insurers, and other stakeholders to reach fair settlements.
5. Handle claims in a timely manner while adhering to FCA guidelines and internal procedures.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all claims, ensuring timely follow-ups.
7. Provide outstanding customer service and build strong client relationships.
8. Prepare claims reports for Account Executives, especially for larger cases.
