ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a smart, ambitious Business Development Manager with experience in the Construction Security industry to join our Construction Sales team. Ideally, you will have experience in a business-to-business solution sales environment. You will be an effective communicator with a thirst for success, capable of meeting tight deadlines and achieving KPIs. You will be responsible for delivering new sales within the construction sector, leveraging the Prime Secure value proposition, learning and understanding the client’s needs, and tailoring a solution to suit. You will be a team player, building on your own performance and sharing strategies and plans with your colleagues to achieve common goals and KPIs.

* You are an ambitious and dynamic new business hunter, capable of prospecting within a target sector and gaining the opportunity to win new contracts.
* You have experience of working in construction security sales.
* You will be professional at all times and capable of operating credibly within a construction environment.
* You are skilled at client relationship management.
* You know what excellence looks like in terms of relationship building, customer engagement, and strategic business development and operate at this level at all times.
* You have experience of dealing with construction and commercial teams.
* You are data-driven with strong analytical skills and a good understanding of reporting/management information, with experience using a CRM.
* You have customer-facing skills and excel at building lasting relationships.
* You are self-motivated and driven to succeed by delivering exceptional service to our customers.
* You are consultative in your sales approach and capable of designing a solution that delivers value to our customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As Business Development Manager within the Construction sector, you’re accountable for delivering new business against our ambitious sales targets.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Personal sales target - revenue and system sales.
* Strong at cold-calling and chasing down leads.
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
* Report accurate forecast, pipeline, and activity data.
* Deliver on-site presentations to clients.
* Attend sales/product training days.
* Liaise with Service Managers (Site Surveys).
* Attend Meet the Buyers Exhibitions.
* Utilise social media, lead generation resources, and network effect effectively to grow your profile in our market sectors.
