Suffolk Mind’s mission is to make Suffolk the best place in the world for talking about and taking care of mental health, and to assist with this we are looking to recruit a Deputy Manager.
The overall aim of this post is to support the Coastal Housing Manager in the delivery of an effective and responsive supported housing service, including the direct management of the staff team providing support to individuals with complex mental health needs and to provide out of hours on-call support on a rota basis.
• 37 hours per week
• Out of hours on-call support on a rota basis, and sleep in shifts to be discussed
• £30,000.00 - £33,000.00 per annum
• Saxmundham
• Hybrid working available
• Full time, permanent role
Key requirements for this role:
• Good understanding of housing management and experience of partnership working with housing associations.
• Experience of working with services users who have severe complex mental health issues including dual diagnosis.
• Experience of positively managing a team.
• The ability to manage your own administration and to be able to use a computer, particularly word processing packages, and to maintain effective administrative systems.
• Good organisational skills and a flexible approach in planning and promoting work to meet tight deadlines.
