You are willing to work outdoors in all weather and in various city areas, adopting flexible working patterns, including overtime. A uniform provided must be worn, and you are willing to maintain a clean and neat appearance during work. Driving a 3.5 flatbed transit is essential. What the Job Involves Your role involves the safe operation of a light plant vehicle, ensuring compliance with Tachograph requirements, and ensuring vehicle/load distribution is compliant with weight regulations. You will maintain the vehicles and equipment by completing required paperwork and forms. You must report to management and engage with the public while maintaining high customer service levels. Part of your duties includes removing fly tipping and documenting waste data accurately. You'll perform additional roles during inclement weather such as snow and ice removal. Authorized to investigate cases leading to enforcement activities, you may gather and submit digital notes and photographic evidence. You will supervise in locations under direct surveillance, utilize in-cab technology for scheduling, and ensure compliance with waste data flow submissions. You will work outdoors throughout the city under all weather conditions, undergo lorry loader training, participate in equality of opportunity practices, and comply with health and safety regulations.
