My client is recruiting a Business Support Administrator.
Responsible for:

Principal Accountabilities:
1. Comply with the relevant sections of the policy statement on Health, Safety and Welfare at Work.
2. Adhere to the principles of the Corporate Equality Policy and ensure commitment to anti-discriminatory practice.
3. Arrange and attend relevant meetings and panels to take notes/detailed minutes, as set out in the service specification.
4. Coordinate requests for room bookings and set up the meeting rooms with equipment and the appropriate layout.
5. Produce agendas and collate agenda items for relevant meetings, as set out in the service specification.
6. Distribute actions/minutes to attendees and other relevant officers/external professionals.
7. Large scale photocopying, collating, and binding.
8. Format self-service documents i.e. presentations and reports.
9. Deal with basic service requests and queries from members of the public, elected Members, and external organisations, redirecting them if necessary.
10. Handle service users with tact and diplomacy at all times.
11. Raise orders and process invoices on the e-purchasing system.
12. Check, amend, and collate staff timesheets for submission to payroll.
13. Update and develop website content, dealing with and issuing information received via social media, and the development of online forms.
14. Administer the process for Sundry Debtor requests.
15. Handle the administration of petty cash.
16. Type routine documentation and correspondence that does not form part of the self-service model.
17. Scan and file documents using the EDM System.
18. Administer card payments over the telephone for members of the public and external companies.
19. Update spreadsheets and databases via data entry and provide the appropriate level of analysis for the relevant service areas, as set out in the service specification.
20. Collate staffing hours and produce payroll requests.
21. Perform reception duties and greet visitors.
22. Contact relevant Managers and staff for information for performance returns, for both internal and external reporting.
23. Comply with the Data Protection Act and maintain confidentiality at all times.
24. Undertake such other duties that may be required, commensurate with your grade or general level of responsibility within the organisation.
