Provides scientificexpertise in order to conceptualize develop and provide guidance onclinical and healthcare related issues.
* Collaborate with staff on the coordination andintegration of standard operating procedures among these Branchesto facilitate the conduct of clinical treatment trials
Coordinate a team of clinicaladvisors
* Collaborate withstaff on the design and implementation of new policies andprocedures designed to improve the safety and efficient functioningof clinical trials
* Provide clinical caredirectly to patients enrolled in Metabolic Disease Branchprotocols
* Provide clinical support to ClinicalEndocrinology Consult Service
* Establishmedical diagnosis for common shortterm and chronic stable healthproblems
* Perform comprehensive medical historyand physical examination and interpret findings
* Order perform and interpret laboratory and/or diagnosticprocedures Perform therapeutic or corrective measures
* Phlebotomy
* Placement of intravenouscatheter
