Are you technically minded with a passion for client interaction? Do you come from an engineering or manufacturing background and want to bring your industry knowledge into a commercially focused role?
A leading CNC machining engineering company is seeking a Tech Sales Engineer to join the team — someone who can combine technical understanding with exceptional customer engagement.
The Role
This is a client-facing position where you’ll act as the key link between the engineering team and customers. You’ll work closely with the Engineering Manager to support and guide clients throughout the quoting and production process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responding to customer enquiries and managing incoming calls
* Preparing accurate quotations and estimates based on technical specifications
* Conducting quantity surveying and cost analysis
* Following up on quotes and maintaining strong client relationships
* Supporting the Engineering Manager with project and client requirements
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven background in engineering, manufacturing, or machining
* Strong communication skills and confidence in a client-facing role
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specs
* Familiarity with ERP systems
* Exposure to CAD/CAM software is a bonus, but not essential
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
* A proactive, solutions-driven mindset
