Brownlee Cale are recruiting for a Mobilisation and Transition Manager for a civils contractor in Swansea.
Overview:
You will lead the setup and smooth handover of new projects and contracts, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency. This role requires strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills to drive successful mobilisations in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Mobilisation Planning & Execution: Develop and implement mobilisation plans, oversee resource allocation, manage procurement, and coordinate recruitment/training.

Transition Management: Ensure smooth handover from mobilisation to operations, manage knowledge transfer, and address transition risks.
*
Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact, liaise with internal/external stakeholders, provide progress reports, and manage client expectations.
*
Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain a risk register.
*
Process Improvement: Implement best practices, document lessons learned, and refine mobilisation methodologies.
*
Financial Oversight: Manage mobilisation budgets and track expenses.
Qualifications & Skills:
*
Proven experience in mobilisation and transition management (industry-specific preferred).
*
Strong project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
*
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
*
Experience in risk management and financial oversight.
*
Proficiency in project management tools; PMP/PRINCE2 certification preferred.
To Note:
* 40 hours (Mon-Fri)
* Experience with water sector (desirable)
* This role is open to PAYE, CIS and PSC candidates
