We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sustainability Service Manager to support the Head of Propositions for Sustainability and Net Zero by delivering excellent delivery of services related to sustainability and data-driven sustainability projects. This role involves managing internal service teams, subject matter experts, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within cost, consumption and carbon budgets, and to the client's satisfaction. This is a home based role, with occasional travel to the Manchester Office. Job title: Sustainability Service Manager Job Description: What you'll be doing: Lead and manage a cross-functional service delivery team to ensure efficient operation of sustainability projects and initiatives. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Product, and subject matter experts, to facilitate smooth contract execution. Coordinate with internal and external partners, including supply chain partners, providers, and contractors, to align project objectives and timelines. Oversee project /contract management activities, ensuring all projects are delivered in accordance with the agreed-upon scope and quality standards. Monitor and report on the performance of sustainability service delivery and support, providing insights and recommendations for improvements ; including leadership of the Capita Smart Buildings product service delivery. Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. M anage the Sustainability Operations Board /Team Meetings. Assess scalability to ensure service models can grow with increased sales. Collaborate with pr opositions and sales teams to align service capabilities with sales and future pro position strategies. Plan resources in advance based on sales projections. Implement performance metrics to measure service delivery effectiveness as it scales. Own, manage, and modify the existing Sustainability Service Architecture. Strategy Development: Create and implement service delivery processes within LPS and manage the operational team with the organi s ation's goals and regulatory requirements. What we're looking for: Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of sustainability practices, environmental regulations, energy benchmarks and relevant technologies. Experience in conducting non-domestic retrofitting or energy audits to an approved standard. Analytical Skills: Ability to analy s e data and metrics to inform sustainability strategies, climate risk assessments and improvements. Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey sustainability goals and progress to diverse audiences. Leadership: Proven leadership skills to inspire and manage teams working on sustainability projects and engage with public sector clients. Problem-Solving: Creative problem-solving abilities to address sustainability challenges. Practical experience in carbon emissions calculations related to decarbonisation plans for buildings or estates including decarbonisation plans for buildings and estates, coordinating the cost, consumption and carbon impacts and action planning. A degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field or equivalent experience. Chartered me mbership of a related professional institution.
