Main duties of the job
The medical secretarial team provides a comprehensive service to the Consultants and their teams and is essential in the provision of a high quality patient experience. The post-holder will support the administration and secretarial duties to the Advanced Epilepsy Practitioner.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE English Grade C or equivalent
* Typing and word/text processing skills
* Text Word processing & audio skills to RSA II or equivalent
* 4 GCSE Grade C or above
* Business Admin NVQ II or equivalent
* Ability to type from digital dictation/audio
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to evidence/demonstrate key values and behaviours in line with both the Trust framework Patient Centred and Safety
* Ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
* Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise work
Experience
* Previous experience in an office environment.
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Previous NHS experience
* Ability to operate office equipment e.g., fax, photocopier
