The Role Following the investment from KKR, IQGeo anticipates a period of strong growth with a goal to drive a 5x increase in ARR across a mix of organic and inorganic growth levers. As a key stakeholder to unlock value creation, there are two intrinsic strands defining the roles and responsibilities of the DSP: Strategic Partner – The DSP will enshrine and maintain their status as a trusted adviser who can be called upon at any moment to provide both specialist and general support, working closely with the CFO, CEO and senior leadership team, ensuring nothing is missed. Working closely with the Executive team to ensure correct business priorities and operational targets are being met Internal and external communication, both verbally and written Interaction with board level executives, and the leadership team Serve as liaison between the Executive team and colleagues, regarding company climate and ensuring the appropriate level of information is cascaded down, across and up Maintaining the Executive Team’s focus, consistently measuring non-financial performance against objectives laid out at the start of the financial year Strategic prioritisation: (i) Assisting the CFO, CEO and Executive team in identifying areas where development is required, redirecting focus where necessary to achieve success, (ii) continually assessing the progress of strategic priorities Managing the meeting cadence for the Board of Directors and Executive Team, ensuring materials are sent in advance, time is well spent, and objectives are achieved. Bringing together multiple stakeholders, driving decision making where appropriate Researching, benchmarking, analyzing data, and making recommendations Assess the quality & productivity of internal process and suggest ways to improve by creating systems and processes which will streamline operations Help business leaders articulate challenges and work with them to articulate the solution and hold them to account for delivery Opportunity to travel between Cambridge, Denver and other international offices to support regional strategy and execution efforts Programme Director – The DSP will have responsibility for the roll out of a consistent delivery strategy for all value creation projects, aligning and prioritising against business-wide objectives. Leading annual strategic planning for the company Establishing a clearly defined governance approach for all stages of the projects process Clearly demonstrate expertise and knowledge, often referred to as a mentor that can be called upon during any stage of the project process Ongoing review of project requests by department heads, prioritising in line with business objectives and budgetary allocation Making decisions that are focused on performing better and most importantly, increase the organisations maturity in managing projects in a sustainable manner Responsible for overseeing any change management within the company, ensuring projects are delivered according to defined standards As the execution of the Value Creation Plan transitions towards a business-as-usual stage (usually after 24 months), the role of the DSP is naturally set up to evolve into a business leadership role, e.g. within a region or BU, or as part of the functional leadership team.
