Job summary Are you a qualified practice nurse looking for a new challenge? Eleanor Cross Healthcare could be the answer for you. We are an established GP practice, we have over 19,500 patients on our list and have two sites. We currently have 7 GP partners, 4 salaried GP's and a nursing team of 12 which includes our HCA's. We have a new nurse manager who is looking to drive standards and service all whilst making Eleanor Cross Healthcare an enjoyable, forward planning and enthusiastic place to work. We are ideally looking for a practice nurse who specialises in asthma or diabetes to support our long term condition team but are open to being supportive of someone who may wish to change specialities. We look to support all our staff with further training and are also a training practice with regular GP and Nurse placements. Main duties of the job We would like our practice nurses to have varied clinic types over the week, from smears and imms to more specialised clinics like diabetes and asthma. We like our teams to work collaboratively to ensure our patients receive the best care we can provide. About us We currently have a team of 67 working for Eleanor Cross Healthcare, 11 GP's 1 Clinical Pharmacist 12 members of the Nursing team Several managers and other administrative team members We also have the support of a Social Prescriber, a Care Co-ordinator, a Health and Well Being coach and 2 MSK practitioners We are quite a large practice in terms of staff and we encourage all our team members to be a part of the whole team. We offer an Employee Assist programme, we have a staff night for Christmas, and we have in the past had a Christmas wreath building day to help build team camaraderie.
