Job Responsibilities
1. Own the P&L and commercial strategy of the product group in conjunction with the Director of Operations for the North America region.
2. Direct, lead, and manage a small but growing sales team, as well as drive growth through distribution partners.
3. Execute strategic sales plans and activities to gain market share and increase overall profits.
4. Collaborate with the Vice President, Director of Operations, Marketing, and Product Marketing teams to develop and execute sales and market strategies, conduct quarterly sales meetings, business reviews, and business plans.
5. Develop monthly sales reports based on goals and KPIs, and report back to the Vice President.
6. Conduct joint sales customer calls with Sales Managers to pursue new business and ensure retention of current customers.
7. Drive growth through new customer acquisition, demonstrating a strong hunter mentality focused on growth.
8. Lead from the front as a working Sales Leader, driving new business and managing a customer portfolio.
9. Create a culture of learning by engaging the sales team in regular communications, initiating sales meetings, observing client visits, and participating in coaching and training. Maintain discipline standards and celebrate successes.
10. Drive commercial and operational excellence by establishing and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.
11. Provide market and product feedback to marketing and product development teams.
