We’re looking for an ambitious and dynamic individual to take on the role of Head of Ticketing and Retail Operations, ensuring exceptional fan experience and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Ticketing Operations
* Oversee all aspects of ticketing, including season tickets, promotions and matchday sales.
* Develop and implement strategies to maximize ticket sales and stadium attendance.
* Manage the ticketing and turnstile team, ensuring efficient operations and excellent customer service.
Matchday Operations
* Oversee the operation of the matchday ticketing and turnstile team.
* Work closely with the Head of Safety, Security and Facilities and the Supporter Liaison Officer – to ensure a cohesive, safe and welcoming matchday experience.
Retail Operations
* Lead the club’s retail strategy, both in-store and online, to enhance the fan experience and increase merchandise sales.
* Ensure the effective management of stock, product lines, and relationship with our retail operations partners.
* Develop marketing campaigns to promote merchandise and retail offerings.
Management & Strategy
* Monitor and analyse sales performance across ticketing and retail, reporting to senior management.
* Identify opportunities for growth and innovation in both areas.
* Work closely with other departments, in particular Commercial and Marketing, to align ticketing and retail strategies with the club’s overall vision.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of operational expertise, commercial acumen, and a passion for football.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in ticketing, retail, or a similar customer-focused environment.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Analytical and results-driven, with experience using data to drive decisions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Familiarity with ticketing and retail software systems.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in a sports environment or knowledge of football culture.
* Understanding of EFL rules and regulations regarding ticketing and retail operations.
