What You’ll Be Doing:
• Tackling complex challenges in the design and development of Multi-Function Radar Systems.
• Applying Systems Engineering principles to steer technical solutions and resolve engineering issues.
• Managing system design trade-offs and specifying robust product designs.
• Leading the decomposition of requirements to system and sub-system levels using tools like IBM DOORS Next.
• Collaborating with experts across various disciplines to realise holistic system design solutions.
• Driving system integration, test planning, and execution.
• Articulating system acceptance strategies to stakeholders and ensuring performance across diverse operational scenarios.
Essential Skills and Experience:
• Knowledge in areas such as signal processing, target tracking, object classification algorithms, and sensor optimisation.
• An understanding of real-world factors impacting sensing system performance and design objectives.
• Experience in Systems Engineering, including familiarity with standards like ISO 15288.
• Confidence in presenting technical and non-technical information in formal settings.
