Job Title: Inventory and Asset Business Partner UKI
Location: Houghton Regis, UK
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Job Purpose:
The Inventory and Asset Business Partner UKI role is responsible for reporting and financial management of the company inventory and assets for UK, NI and ROI. Ensuring strong financial and management reporting is provided based on sound commercial insight and positive working relationships.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Ensuring month end Group Reporting commitments are accurate and completed on time
* Provide and develop robust and insightful financial and operational performance information and processes, including KPI metrics
* Identifying monthly accruals and posting monthly depreciation journals
* Capitalising assets throughout the month – Rental assets and Fixed assets
* Control and monitor stock adjustments and stock movements, reporting and analysing any excess stock within the business
* Provide suggested sales price for adhoc Rental Asset sales
* Assist in formulating the budgets and forecasts for inventory and assets, along with ongoing monitoring and variance analysis
* Participate and assist in business changes through continuous improvement, challenging current processes
* Resolving pricing queries and ensure correct costings / valuations in database
* Support the business with stock count processes for both Bishopsgate and Rental/Service depots throughout the year and at year end with audit support
Essential Skills/Experience/Personal Qualities:
* Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
* Previous experience in a similar role within an accounting environment preferred
* Possess good accounting skills; be numerate and literate and able to apply to different scenarios
* Interpersonal skills are essential – ability to interact and communication across the business at different levels
* Be methodical, attentive to detail and possess good organizational and time management skills
* Computer literate with an excellent knowledge of Excel spreadsheets (Pivots, VLookups etc) and PowerPoint, SAP/PowerBI would be an advantage
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
