The job holder must be prepared to be on call outside of normal working hours to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum. Some weekend shutdown work may be required.
This position involves working with chemicals and process materials; therefore, in line with H&S requirements, this is a non-smoking/vaping role.
This is a fixed term contract until the end of September 2026 currently. Extensions to this will be discussed closer to that time.
We are seeking a Multi-skilled individual to be responsible for maintenance, repairs, and smooth running of the site and production lines. This is a varied role and will suit individuals with a can-do attitude, willing to take control of site maintenance and develop systems to support the business in moving forward.
You will be responsible for:
* Establishing and maintaining a suitable Asset Management Plan and Preventative Inspection & Maintenance Schedules to maximise performance, safety, reliability, and compliance with relevant legislation and regulation.
* Conducting regular operational checks to plant equipment to ensure minimum downtime.
* Ensuring critical spares stocks to minimise machine downtime.
* Maintenance of plant machinery and facilities, attending breakdowns, fault finding and performing repairs as necessary in a timely and cost-effective manner.
* Organising and managing external contractors as required, ensuring work is delivered in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner.
