If so, we would love to hear from you The role As a Technical Change Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless quality and execution of changes, working closely with the Release & Transition Manager and various business stakeholders and external suppliers. In this role, you will lead IT technical changes by planning, coordinating, and implementing BAU application upgrades/releases, business-led projects, and key business processes. You'll assess the impact of proposed technical changes using existing frameworks and develop reusable change/release plans. Additionally, you'll detail environment paths, testing efforts, and estimated timescales for technical changes. Managing and coordinating technical change implementations with suppliers, third-party vendors, and internal IT resources will be your core responsibility. You will also communicate change plans and progress to various stakeholders across the IT department and wider business, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and IT strategies. Providing support for IT colleagues impacted by technical changes through release documentation is another key aspect of this role. You will manage and mitigate risks associated with technical changes, assisting IT and Business Project Managers from project initiation through test and transition to operational support and BAU (Business as usual) services. You will monitor and evaluate the success of technical changes, promoting a culture of continuous improvement within IT Change Management and IT Release Management processes.
