To provide effective leadership and management for the Medical Personnel/Resident Doctors Hours team, ensuring effective service delivery and maximum performance and motivation. This includes enhancing staff development, communication, performance management, and managing attendance.
Work collaboratively with HR & OD Business Partners to ensure the sharing of best practices, informed planning, decision-making, and consistency of approach. Support managers and Employee Relations in managing medical staff issues related to training, disciplinary actions, grievances, and sickness, liaising with appropriate internal and external bodies (the Postgraduate Dean, NCAS & GMC) where necessary in line with Trust Policy, Deanery Policy, and the TCS.
Initiate dialogue and liaise with colleagues in the wider People arena to ensure they are informed about People issues in the Trusts and, where appropriate, the local health economy.
