Your mission:
As part of the European E-Marketing Team, you are responsible for ensuring that Epson's websites and content are primed to rank high in organic search results and rank for key terms that support Epson's business objectives. Maximising website traffic across Epson websites and campaigns by implementing SEO strategies and best practices to improve page ranking.
Reporting into the Content Manager, you will be working with the IT department to optimise the infrastructure of the Epson websites so they can be easily crawled and indexed by search engines. You are responsible for analysing and reviewing metrics for the websites you are optimising.
The position is based out of our Sales and Marketing Office in Watford, UK. As flexibility is key to a modern lifestyle, this role also comes with three days WFH.
What will you do:
* Develop optimisation strategies that increase Epson's search engine results rankings across Europe.
* Perform keyword research and competitive analysis to optimise existing content and uncover new opportunities considering the emerging AI requirements.
* Work with other teams to implement recommendations for content development in coordination with SEO goals and to produce SEO-optimised content and assets.
* Work with IT to provide technical SEO support and oversee crawling, indexing, XML sitemap generation and implementation, schema markup, etc.
* Conduct technical audits, including identifying and resolving broken links, web crawler issues, toxic backlinks, and more.
* Assist with link-building campaigns.
* Use web analytics data from several sources (Google Analytics, Adobe, etc.) to evaluate traffic building initiatives’ effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvements in content, user experience, and conversion.
* Report on current performance and make recommendations for optimisation, including impressions, clicks, conversions, organic versus paid traffic, and channel performance. Track and report on these metrics.
* Work with the Digital Performance Manager to use web analytics to create organic search performance reports that will inform content priorities for the Marketing team.
* Review and analyse SEO performance data to make tactical recommendations to increase traffic growth and generate a positive impact.
* Ensure new developments are tracked and monitored, including the reporting of key indicators.
* Manage and work with SEO agencies to deliver profitable SEO solutions.
What we ask for:
* Good understanding and experience of SEO (either in-house or agency).
* Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
* Strong background with tools like Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Excel, SEMRush, MOZ, Google Search Console and Conductor.
* Analytics know-how to evaluate campaign results and make strategic decisions for what keywords to attempt to rank for (and the content to accomplish this).
* Strong communication capabilities for acquiring backlinks from other high-quality websites, collaborating with the rest of the marketing team, converting data into insights to demonstrate how SEO efforts have contributed to business KPIs, and explaining to stakeholders the reasoning behind the efforts.
* Reporting and presentation skills.
* High attention to detail and the ability to work in a small team environment.
